We had a great meeting today with the Administrator of Family and Community Engagement (FACE) and Youth Development Program Manager for the Elk Grove Unified School District.
We talked about the vision for Face2Face Youth Group and how the District and Face2Face might work together to bring our message and events to students.
Both ladies were very excited to learn about our program and shared with us the district’s needs in terms of program availability in the schools. We’re looking forward to our next chat and we’re exploring the ideas that were discussed at our meeting.
As the Face2Face Youth Group grows, we naturally get excited whenever we see a mention in social media. You can imagine our reaction when we saw that Kirstie Alley, of television and motion picture fame, retweeted our post recently!
Tired of kids spending so much time on their phones? Attention Sacramento area parents of tweens and teens (10-14): get your kids into our “offline” events and making new friends the old fashioned way! Join other like-minded parents in our new Face2Face Youth Group!
We’re off to a great start! We’ve got events scheduled for January and February now and are working on events for the rest of the year. Come check us out!
